The Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), a rebel group,
has forced nearly 2 million people from their homes, over 20,000
children have been kidnapped forcing them to become soldiers. Thousands
of others have been murdered and brutalized in the past 19 years. For
the first, time the victims who have been living in Internally
Displaced People (IDP) Camps are being allowed to go home. Our ministry partners, Gaba Community Church and Africa Renewal
Ministries, has planted a church in Soroti an area in Northern Uganda.
They need support and the hope of Christ as they rebuild their lives as
they have lost everything. Through
the local church, we will be providing support, training pastors,
distributing food, ministering to the children and sharing the hope of
Christ with the villagers.
