“This is Africa” has been a phrase that has described the misfortune, violence and sickness that exists in Africa. It is estimated that 60% of the population of Nairobi lives in the poorest of poor conditions; the infamous slums.  But God is doing a new thing in Kenya and in Africa. God is raising up a new generation of church leaders that are giving new meaning to the phrase “This is Africa”.  Through the local church in Kenya we are launching a ministry at Mariners that will focus on equipping this new generation of church leaders with the tools to change their communities.  

Our teams will walk alongside the local church in distributing mosquito nets, providing business opportunities for women that have been infected with HIV, giving hope to children, and training leaders.

Application deadlines and costs vary per trip. Team members are encouraged to raise support to cover the costs of Faith Adventures.
